Licensed Acupuncturist - Part Time or Full Time

Family Acupuncture & Wellness is looking to hire an acupuncturist to join our team. Founded in 2005, our practice has received numerous awards, and has developed a strong reputation and referral base in our community. With a strong administrative team, positive clinic environment, and strong team of fellow heart-centered practitioners, this is an excellent opportunity for a team-oriented practitioner to join our practice and have a long fulfilling career.

Job Summary:

Location: Portsmouth, NH and Dover, NH

Status: Part-Time or Full-Time (20-40 hrs/week)

Preferred Qualifications: 1-2+ years of clinical experience and an active NCCAOM (NCBAHM) diplomate.

About our Clinic:

Located in Portsmouth NH, just off 95 and Route 33

Additional location in Dover, NH

Services offered include acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, functional medicine, and massage.

7 Years in a row Winner of Best Acupuncture in the Seacoast region.

Practitioners include 5 acupuncturists, a massage therapist, Functional Medicine Provider.

Professionally staffed practice with a clinic manager who oversees the front desk staff and ensures that operations and billing run smoothly.

Professional office space blends a comfortable mix of professional medical space and a relaxing spa-like environment.

Responsibilities:

Providing excellent patient care is the primary responsibility

Keep thorough and timely SOAP notes in our EHR

Collaborate with the team of practitioners who share patients

Be open to blending TCM and Balance Method so that the patients receive a standard of care

Meet with colleagues to discuss cases, supplements and herbs

Write letters of medical necessity or request for more visits as needed

Practitioner will be provided training on our most commonly recommended supplements

Practitioner can focus primarily on the care of patients, without any of the responsibility for front office management, marketing, or managing supplies.

Candidates:

The ideal candidate will have:

preferably 1-2+ years of clinical experience, but also open to new graduates

NCCAOM Diplomate status must be active (now NCBAHM Diplomate)

Experience working with TCM and Dr. Tan’s Balance method are both desired, (candidates who are not familiar with Balance Method are still invited to apply and training will be provided.)

The most important aspect will be finding the individual who is the most harmonious addition to the group.

Candidate must be willing to work 2-3 evening shifts per week

Compensation: $80,000-120,000 per year, employee discount, paid time off, 401(k) matching Signing Bonus: We are offering a structured signing bonus, up to $10,000 (paid 1/3 at 6 months and 2/3 at 12 months)
