These experienced professionals provide administrative expertise, facilities management, natural and cultural resource planning, and a broad array of other professional skills that support the National Park Service through the Experienced Services Program (ESP).

The enrollment relationship between NEW Solutions and the Enrollee is an ?at-will? relationship. This means that an Enrollee is free to terminate enrollment at any time during the enrollment period, and NEW Solutions and the Agency have the right to terminate the relationship with the Enrollee.
PLEASE NOTE: An ?Enrollee? is not a federal employee, nor an employee of NEW Solutions. An ?Enrollee? is a participant in a grant program established through a Cooperative Agreement funded by the agency and administered by NEW Solutions.

Qualifications: Minimum of 35 year(s) of experience OR MA/MS Degree in Anthropology/Archaeology with minimum additional experience of 15 year(s)
- Experience required with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Teams, MS Outlook, MS SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat
- FileMaker Pro, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite preferred
Duties: Enrollee will support the Nez Perce National Historical Park archaeology program by reviewing and organizing digital cultural resource data, reviewing and developing baseline documentation, and assisting with NHPA Section 106 documentation and compliance.
- Assists the Cultural Resources Management staff with the review and organization of digital cultural resources data for Nez Perce National Historical Park (NEPE), Big Hole National Battlefield (BIHO), and Whitman Mission National Historic Site (WHMI) maintained at NEPE. 60%
- Assists the park archaeologist with the review of baseline documentation for archaeology sites, cultural landscape, and historic structures within NEPE, WHMI, and BIHO maintained by the state historic preservation offices of Montana, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington and assists with the integration of that data into existing datasets maintained at NEPE. 10%
- Assists the park archaeologist with the development of baseline documentation for archaeology sites, cultural landscapes, and historic structures. 10%
- Assists the park archaeologist with the review of Section 106 documentation and the preparation of consultation documents for tribal historic preservation offices and state historic preservation offices. 10%
- Assists with the development of digital documentation about cultural resources for integration into existing databases maintained by NEPE 10%
Other: - Overnight travel: 2-3 days per month
- Air travel anticipated: depending on enrollee location, air travel may be required
- Physical requirements: Work will be sedentary in nature.
