2nd Shift Mechanical Assembler

Shift: Monday - Thursday, 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM

Pay Rate: $21.60/hour

Overview

We are currently expanding our production team and hiring 2nd Shift Mechanical Assemblers to support increased customer demand. In this role, you will assemble high-pressure regulators and precision metal components used in the semiconductor industry .

This position operates in a clean room environment , requiring strict adherence to cleanliness standards and procedures. Candidates must be comfortable wearing full clean room attire for the entire shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble regulators and mechanical components using blueprints, work instructions, and specifications

• Build complete assemblies from kits (approximately 20-30 units per day )

• Utilize hand tools, torque wrenches, lubricants, and other assembly equipment

• Conduct helium and functional testing to ensure product performance

• Inspect parts and finished products for defects (scratches, dents, etc.)

• Package products according to clean room and shipping standards, including vacuum sealing

• Complete all required production and quality documentation

• Maintain clean room standards and follow all safety protocols

Required Skills & Experience

Top 3 Skills:

• Mechanical assembly experience

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions

• Experience building products from start to finish using hand tools

Important Note:

• Mechanical assembly experience is required

• Candidates with only medical assembly experience will not be considered

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED

• 1-2 years of mechanical assembly experience preferred

• Ability to read blueprints and written instructions

• Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per shift

• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 40 lbs

• Ability to torque up to 150 ft/lbs

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident due to government regulations
