Job Description

The AWS Cloud Logistics team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Specialist in Bellevue WA or Florence KY to manage the day to day warehousing operations for the fastest growing industries in the world while working on projects to further enhance our operation. An ideal candidate has a background in logistics and excellent data driven problem resolution skills. They have the ability to work with external partners/influence others pull and analyze data with ease drive process improvements standardize processes and eliminate the root cause of defects within the current systems. This job will require solid communication skills while having the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

Key job responsibilities
- Engage in daily tactical communication with external vendors (Logistics Service Providers) and internal customers
- Leading large projects independently
- Travel to audit warehouses throughout NALA (mostly domestic USA)
- Analyze data from numerous databases (using Excel SQL and/or other data management systems) and perform reporting and analysis as needed
- Publish performance metrics to assist with driving business results
- Quickly and efficiently understand the business impact of observed trends and make decisions based on available data
- Identify and eliminate root causes of defects in order to drive efficiency in Amazons transportation operations
- Work with multiple stakeholder teams in the Supply Chain to jointly solve problems and implementing standards
- Work within time constraints to meet critical business needs

- Bachelors degree or above in Business Procurement Logistics Accounting Supply Chain Management Supply Chain Analysis Construction or other related fields
- Experience analyzing metrics to drive business improvements

- Experience in stakeholder management dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
