Join Our Leading Pediatric Cardiology Team as a Cardiology Pediatric Physician Assistant!

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cardiology Pediatric Physician Assistant to provide expert care in our advanced Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU). Required Skills

  • Current Physician Assistant licensure in the state of practice
  • Certification in Basic Critical Care (or equivalent)
  • Significant experience in pediatric ICU or cardiology settings
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Competence in performing bedside procedures such as chest tube removal, central line access, and arrhythmia management
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to efficiently prioritize and manage multiple complex cases
  • Knowledge of mechanical circulatory support and ECMO management is highly desirable
Nice to Have Skills
  • Experience working in a pediatric cardiac ICU or transplant unit
  • Certifications in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Experience with advanced mechanical circulatory devices (e.g., ECMO, ventricular assist devices)
  • Familiarity with neonatal to adolescent patient care
  • Fluency in additional languages to better serve diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in pediatric cardiology, cardiac ICU, or transplant care
  • Prior experience in a high-acuity, fast-paced critical care environment is preferred
Other Requirements
  • Ability to work a 5x13-hour shift schedule, including days, nights, and weekends
  • Must hold or be eligible for relevant state licensure and certifications
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and education
  • Travel or reimbursement for licensure, certifications, or additional training as applicable
