We specialize in Alzheimer’s and Dementia Home Care, 24-hour Home Care, Veteran’s Home Care and Post-Surgery Home Care.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Caregiver to join our team! In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of seniors and people with disabilities by enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene needs, light housekeeping and errands, dispensing medication, and other tasks that improve the client’s living environment and standards. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, and reliable. 

Job Details:

• Provide personal care and assistance according to a client's care plan
• Our Home Care Aides provide 1:1 supervision for safety and assistance to the client in activities of daily living to maintain the client in their home.
• Providing companionship and conversation
• Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
• Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises
• Prepare meals and snacks
• Light housekeeping activities
• Dispense medication
• Assist with errands and shopping

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Certified HHA/CNA under PA state regulation or ability to pass skills and written HCA test
• Valid driver's license/ Car ownership (preferred)
• Ability to read and understand written instructions
• Ability to take direction via telephone in patient's home
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role is preferred
• Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
• Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal spills
• Compassionate, respectful, ethical

Genesis-Three Home Care looks for home care aides with at least 6 months experience to join our team of caring and compassionate Home Care Aides to assist the elderly and individuals with disabilities with their home care plans. 

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.75 per hour
