RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing companionship and activities in clients residences
Assisting with fall prevention tasks while bathing and dressing
Performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and linen changing
Planning and preparing meals
Providing medication reminders
Providing transportation to and from appointments and shopping
Assist clients with mobility for fall prevention
QUALIFICATIONS
Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
1 year of proven caregiver experience and ability to interpret the client’s provided plan of care
Dependable with valid driver’s license and transportation
Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations
People oriented with a caring and compassionate personality
Must be able to be reached via cell phone and email for shift schedules, client updates and/or emergencies
Prior experience with senior care patients is required and with dementia patients a plus!
Must speak English proficiently and have a High School degree
Must live within 15 miles of Westchase zip 33626 (North Tampa, Carrollwood, Lutz, Odessa, Town 'n Ctry)

I worked at Home Helpers of Bourbonnais for 5 year and it was by far the best job I’ve had. The owner is very invested in her business and truly cares about her staff and Clients. The office staff is very professional and does a great job managing. As a caregiver you can have as many or as little hours as you wish. Schedules do change but that’s only when the clients need changed. I also had an updated care plan for every client and I was able to assist with making sure that my clients had the best care as my shift ended. Supervisors are not at every clients house all the time but they are very involved and always reachable.
