Indigo Dental Staffing is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant Instructor to join our Education, Training & E-Learning team within the Healthcare & Medical Services industry. In this role, you will draw on your clinical dental assisting experience to teach and mentor aspiring dental assistants in a fast-paced, innovative instructional setting. You will design and deliver engaging classroom and lab-based lessons that cover chairside assisting procedures, dental radiography, infection control, instrument sterilization, dental materials, and patient communication. Working closely with students, you will provide hands-on demonstrations, supervise clinical simulations, and ensure that all training aligns with current dental practice standards and regulatory guidelines. The Dental Assistant Instructor will evaluate student performance through exams, skills assessments, and practical check-offs, offering constructive feedback and individualized coaching to support their success. You will help develop and refine curriculum, maintain accurate student records, and participate in ongoing program improvement to keep course content current with evolving dental technologies and techniques. Collaboration with other educators and clinical partners will be essential in coordinating externship placements and preparing students to transition confidently into professional dental settings.
