Indigo Dental Staffing is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant Instructor to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team within the Education, Training & E-Learning department. In this role, you will leverage your clinical dental assisting experience and passion for teaching to prepare the next generation of dental assistants for success in fast-paced, modern practices. You will design and deliver engaging classroom lessons, labs, and demonstrations that cover chairside assisting procedures, infection control and sterilization protocols, radiography techniques, dental materials, charting, patient communication, and practice management basics. Working in a supportive and dynamic environment, you will assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and help students build confidence and competency through hands-on practice and simulations. You will maintain a safe, compliant lab environment that aligns with current OSHA and CDC guidelines, ensure that all equipment and instruments are properly maintained and sterilized, and model professional standards of conduct and patient care. Collaboration with program leadership and other instructors will be key as you help refine curriculum, align instruction with industry expectations, and track student outcomes to support continuous improvement. You will also help coordinate and oversee student externships in local dental offices, building relationships with clinical sites and ensuring that students are work-ready upon completion.
