Indigo Dental Staffing is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant Instructor to join our Educational Services team within the Education, Training & E-Learning department. In this role, you will leverage your clinical dental assisting experience to train and mentor the next generation of dental assistants in a fast-paced, innovative learning environment. You will develop and deliver engaging classroom instruction, lead hands-on clinical and lab demonstrations, and ensure students are able to translate theory into competent, real-world practice. Responsibilities include preparing and updating lesson plans and learning materials that align with current dental standards and regulations, teaching chairside assisting techniques, radiography fundamentals, infection control and sterilization protocols, and patient care procedures. You will evaluate student performance through exams, skills check-offs, and practical assessments, providing clear, constructive feedback and individualized coaching to help each learner succeed. The Dental Assistant Instructor will also help manage classroom and lab equipment, maintain accurate student records and grades, and support students in preparing for certification exams and entry-level employment in dental practices. Collaboration with other instructors, clinical partners, and administrative staff is essential to continuously improve curriculum, maintain accreditation standards, and support a positive, student-centered learning culture.
