Indigo Dental Staffing is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant Instructor to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team within the Education, Training & E-Learning department. In this role, you will leverage your clinical dental assisting experience to train and mentor aspiring dental assistants in a fast-paced, innovative instructional setting. You will plan and deliver engaging classroom and lab-based lessons, demonstrate chairside assisting techniques, radiography, infection control, sterilization, and four-handed dentistry, and supervise students as they develop hands-on competence with dental instruments, materials, and clinical procedures. The Dental Assistant Instructor will create and update lesson plans, assessments, and skills checklists aligned with current dental standards and regulations, including OSHA and CDC guidelines, and will model best practices in chairside manner, patient communication, and professional ethics. You will evaluate student performance, provide constructive feedback, maintain accurate records of attendance and grades, and collaborate with program leadership to ensure the curriculum remains current with industry trends and state requirements.
