Indigo Dental Staffing is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant Instructor to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team within the Education, Training & E-Learning department. In this role, you will draw on your clinical dental assisting experience to prepare aspiring dental assistants for success in a fast-paced, innovative practice environment. You will design and deliver engaging classroom and lab-based instruction that covers chairside assisting, infection control, radiography principles, instrument sterilization, dental materials, charting, and patient preparation. Using real-world examples and current best practices, you will mentor students in developing strong clinical skills, professional communication, and a thorough understanding of dental office workflows. Responsibilities include planning and updating lesson content, delivering lectures and demonstrations, supervising hands-on practice, assessing student performance through assignments and practical evaluations, and providing constructive feedback to support their growth. You will model a professional, patient-centered approach, reinforcing the importance of safety, compliance with OSHA and CDC guidelines, and high standards of ethical practice. Collaboration with program leadership and other instructors is expected to ensure that curriculum aligns with industry expectations and prepares students for entry-level roles and certification exams where applicable.
