Position: Direct Support Professional (DSP) Location: Oak Park, IL Job Id: 213-222 # of Openings: 1 Oak Leyden has immediate openings for caring individuals who want to make a difference by working in our CILA Residential group homes for adults with developmental disabilities. Our CILA DSP's assist adults with developmental disabilities with activities of daily living skills by teaching and assisting with personal hygiene, home cleanliness, cooking, and other daily activities. Full Time, benefit eligible shifts available: 2nd shift, 2:30pm - 10:30 pm Tuesday-Saturday (40 hours) - Female only in Westchester 2nd shift, 2:30pm - 10:30 pm Tuesday-Saturday (40 hours) in Franklin Park 3rd Shift, 10:30pm-8:30am Wednesday-Friday AND 2nd shift on Sunday- Franklin Park Part Time, non-benefit eligible shifts available: 2nd shift, 2:30pm - 10:30 pm Friday-Saturday (16 hours) - Franklin Park 1st Shift, 8:30am-2:30pm Saturday and Sunday (12 Hours) - Franklin Park, Berwyn & Melrose Park 1st Shift, 8:30am-2:30pm Saturday and Sunday AND 2nd shift on Monday (20 Hours) - Franklin Park, Forest Park, Oak Park & Westchester Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED 21+ years of age for insurance purposes. DSP certified required. Minimum of 1 year experience with Adults with Developmental Disabilities. Current Valid Illinois Driver’s License and ability to be insured under Oak-Leyden Insurance (Must have clean driving record) 21 years of age or older for insurance purposes Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, pass drug test/physical, all background checks and required tests.
