Lake Port Senior Living Driver

Lake Port Square is an upscale Senior Living community located on the shores of Lake Harris on a 78-acre nature preserve. As a life care community, Lake Port Square makes aging in place simple. Residents are able to seamlessly transition from independent living to assisted living, and skilled nursing care, as their healthcare needs change.

Lake Port Senior Living is recruiting for a hospitality focused Driver to join our team part-time on Saturdays & Sundays! This position is responsible for transporting residents to grocery store, monthly outings and extended trips as scheduled; assists in performing housekeeping duties as required.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Driver:

• Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs inside and outside of the Community.
• Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
• Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and wash vehicle.
• May perform housekeeping functions as directed.
• Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• CDL with Passenger Endorsement a plus
• Minimum six (6) months experience as a bus/van driver required
• High school diploma or GED required
