Job Summary:

As an EHS Consultant , you will be the primary link between Prometheus Group and our customers’ environmental, health, and safety teams. You will deliver hands‑on training and guidance on Prometheus EHS solutions, ensuring end users can effectively apply the tools to support compliance, risk reduction, and safe work execution.

You will work directly with customer sites to assess EHS processes, identify gaps, recommend best‑practice improvements, and support the rollout of new safety workflows. Your on‑site presence provides a unique opportunity to identify additional consulting needs, software enhancements, or licensing opportunities based on real‑world EHS challenges.

Consultants receive comprehensive training on the Prometheus suite and underlying EAM systems, enabling you to understand how work management, permitting, safety, and compliance intersect. As you grow in the role, you will progress from initial solution rollouts to leading broader EHS process design initiatives, multi‑site standardization efforts, and long‑term customer safety improvement programs.

Responsibilities:

• Train EHS teams, supervisors, and end users on Prometheus EHS software and functionality
• Provide subject‑matter expertise on EHS processes, regulatory compliance, and safe work practices
• Conduct EHS process assessments and recommend improvements to workflows, controls, and system configuration
• Support customers in implementing best practices for permitting, risk assessments, incident management, and safety documentation
• Document findings, recommendations, and opportunities for additional EHS consulting or software solutions
• Identify needs for additional training, services, or product enhancements based on on‑site observations
• Collaborate internally with Prometheus teams to ensure seamless handoffs and consistent customer support

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related STEM field
• Ability to travel 60–70% during the work week, with occasional weekend travel depending on engagement needs
• Comfortable with public speaking, including leading training sessions, workshops, and presentations

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in EHS roles within industrial, manufacturing, energy, or similar environments
• Familiarity with EHS regulatory frameworks (OSHA, EPA, ISO 45001, etc.)
• Experience with EAM, ERP, or CMMS systems (SAP, Maximo, Oracle, JDE, etc.)
• Background in safe work permitting, risk assessments, or incident management
• Experience developing or delivering EHS training
