The JCC Greater Boston Events Manager plays a pivotal role in bringing people together by and through partnerships that create meaningful, engaging, and well-executed events that reflect the heart of our community and the mission of our organization. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Operations and Risk Management, this position oversees the logistical aspects of all events and partners with colleagues to support their events Marketing Membership, Development, Facilities and HR, etc. This position also has responsibility for full lifecycle of some organizational events - ensuring every event embodies our values of belonging, joyfulness, collaboration, and transformation. Working across departments, the Events Manager translates program goals into impactful experiences that strengthen engagement, build relationships, and elevate the organization's visibility. Whether managing a major fundraising gala, a community Shabbat dinner, a wellness expo, or an external rental in our state-of-the-art theater, the Events Manager ensures every detailfrom planning to executionreflects excellence, hospitality, and mission alignment. Success relies on excellent coordination and communication with various colleagues to ensure all JCCGB events are well orchestrated, fiscally responsible and mission aligned.
Primary responsibilities include, and are not limited to:
Event Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive annual event calendar aligned with fundraising, engagement, and programmatic goals.
Event Management & Execution: Lead the end-to-end planning and logistics for all organizational events
Engagement & Relationship Management: Manage relationships with internal and external partners including vendors, consultants, and sponsors to ensure flawless execution.
Marketing & Communications Collaboration: Partner with Marketing and Communications teams to develop event collateral, invitations, digital campaigns, signage, and post-event highlights.
Operations & Administration: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and alignment with fundraising objectives.

This full-time, salaried position offers a comprehensive benefits package, a supportive work environment with a hybrid work option for some administrative duties, and a competitive starting salary range between $60-68K annually. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for events.
The salary offered will ultimately be determined by relevant qualifications, experience, and JCC's internal equity.
