4-5 Years of Fund Services is a must US Bank About Our Client As a Fund Accounting - Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements. This position is ideal for someone passionate about the banking industry. Job Description Key Responsibilities: Oversee and document essential internal control procedures, ensuring clarity and consistency. Pinpoint potential risk areas during control assessments or when reviewing reports from other teams. Cultivate strong client relationships and confidently articulate the regulatory rationale behind specific requirements. Conduct daily cash flow reviews by collecting relevant data and analyzing anomalies. Assist in evaluating and responding to emerging regulatory requirements. Recommend and implement corrective measures to address identified discrepancies. Manage internal and external initiatives with precision and attention to detail. Draft and assess materials for submission to regulators and external auditors. Provide support in addressing inquiries from clients, auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders. Maintain clear and effective communication with business units and other departments across the organization. Foster collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations. Escalate significant audit findings within the team and guide resolution strategies for impactful issues. Build peer networks to exchange insights and best practices. Help gather and review documentation related to look-through assessments, recordkeeping, and ownership verification for private assets (e.g., real estate, private equity, private debt, fund of funds), and proactively track progress and follow up on outstanding client materials. The Successful Applicant A strong foundation in accounting, finance, or a related field. Minimum 4-5 Years of fund accounting and admin services is a must Experience or knowledge of internal controls and regulatory compliance in the financial services industry. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Effective communication skills for collaborating with various departments. Proficiency in relevant software and tools for financial analysis and reporting.
