Responsible for greenhouse and nursery maintenance, including planting, weeding, watering, fertilizing, propagation, cleaning, and sanitation. Posting Details Posting Number: G/R25925P Department: PSO-State Botanic Garden of Georgia Employment Type: Employee (Temporary) Schedule: Up to 19 hours per week Salary: $12.00–$13.80 per hour Start Date: 05/12/2025 Location: Athens Area (University of Georgia campus) Classification: Skilled Crafts/Trades – FLSA Non‑Exempt Duties and Responsibilities Planting, weeding, watering, fertilizing, and propagating plants in three production greenhouses and outdoor nursery Cleaning pots and sanitizing floors and benches to maintain a productive environment Assist the Greenhouse Manager with day‑to‑day operations Drive as needed to perform job duties Physical Demands – Work outside during adverse weather, lift and move potted plants, perform strenuous activity.
