ELA Teacher Wanted – Public International High School, Beijing

Position: ELA (English Language Arts) Teacher
Start Date: August 2026
Location: Haidian District, Beijing, China
Contract Length: 1–2 years (12–24 months)
Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality ELA instruction to students aged 15–18
• Develop and implement literature-focused curriculum aligned with international standards
• Foster critical reading, analytical writing, and discussion skills
• Assess student progress and provide detailed feedback
• Collaborate with faculty on interdisciplinary projects and school events
• Support students in academic and personal growth
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Literature or a closely related field
• Minimum 2 years of high school teaching experience (mandatory)
• Native or near-native English proficiency
• Strong knowledge of literary analysis, composition, and rhetoric
• Teaching certification preferred
• Passionate about literature education and adolescent development
Salary & Benefits
• Monthly Salary: RMB 35,000 – 38,000 (before tax, including housing allowance)
• Working schedule: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday
