Interior Designer II

Ready to design at a level that stretches you?

If you're an interior designer who wants to work on large, complex projects that truly impact people's lives, this could be your next big step.

This is an opportunity to join the highest-performing office of a nationally respected architecture and design firm. You'll collaborate with a dynamic, direct, highly engaged team working on major healthcare, workplace, senior living, and science + technology environments. You'll gain exposure to projects that are both technically rigorous and deeply meaningful.

Here's what makes this role stand out:

  • Clear growth path within a stable, well-established firm

  • Work alongside a nationally renowned expert in the field

  • Large, exciting projects that elevate your portfolio

  • Highly collaborative culture with direct communicators who value excellence

  • Strong total compensation upside

  • A fast-paced, high-performing environment that rewards initiative

If you're energized by challenge, collaboration, and doing work that makes a measurable difference, you'll feel right at home here.

What You'll Do

You'll partner closely with architects, designers, consultants, contractors, and clients across all project phases — from early concept and programming through construction administration.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Shaping design direction to meet scope, schedule, and budget goals

  • Developing thoughtful, client-centered interior solutions

  • Coordinating interior architecture with internal teams and external partners

  • Preparing and presenting finish palettes and design concepts

  • Producing detailed project documentation in Revit

  • Managing FF&E specification and procurement

  • Supporting construction administration efforts

  • Mentoring junior team members and contributing to a strong studio culture

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys both the creative and technical sides of design.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture

  • 5–10 years of professional interior design experience

  • NCIDQ accreditation

  • Experience on large-scale, complex projects

  • Strong portfolio showcasing design thinking and execution

  • High proficiency in Revit (rendering experience required; Enscape preferred)

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Confidence working directly with clients and consultants

  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently

Preferred experience

  • Healthcare environments

  • Workplace or science and technology projects

  • Project management exposure

  • A commitment to fostering an equitable and inclusive team environment

Compensation & Benefits

  • $70,000–$100,000 base salary, depending on experience

  • Competitive total compensation structure

  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance

  • 401(k) with employer match

  • Paid vacation, sick, holiday, and volunteer time

  • Flexible work environment

  • Paid relocation assistance

If you're ready to join a fast-moving, high-achieving team where your work truly matters and where your growth is intentional, we'd love to connect.
