Nursing Asst Cert Adult Day Care

Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: Days Hours Per Week: 40 hours per week Hiring range: $18.74- $25.07 The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Description

Responsibilities:

• Implement activities program for groups or individuals
• Organize and obtain supplies and equipment needed
• Must be comfortable assisting or directing activities
• Ability to construct and provide visual examples of activities
• Assists registrants with tending to personal care, activities of daily living and transfers/transport
• Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
• Assures registrant's safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations and initiates corrective action as appropriate.
• Assist with care with proper instruction and supervision.
• Assist with record keeping of registrant activity.
• Come to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrate dependability and punctuality.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Assists registrants with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education, Training & Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• BLS Provider obtained within 30 days of hire date

Certifications / Licensure:

• Current Nurse Aide Credential from NYS DOH
