Cone Health, a not-for-profit health care network serving the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina, is seeking an enthusiastic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Pediatric Complex Care Clinic. This position is open to new graduates who are passionate about caring for medically complex children and their families in a collaborative, team-based environment. As an advanced practice provider in our Healthcare & Medical Services department, you will provide comprehensive, family-centered care to pediatric patients with a wide range of chronic and complex medical conditions. You will obtain detailed histories, perform focused and comprehensive physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with supervising and consulting physicians. Working closely with pediatricians, subspecialists, nurses, social workers, and rehabilitation professionals, you will coordinate care across multiple settings, ensuring that each child’s medical, developmental, and psychosocial needs are addressed. A key component of this role is partnering with families: educating them about diagnoses and therapies, supporting them in navigating the healthcare system, and helping them manage ongoing care at home and in the community. You will document all care in the electronic health record with accuracy and timeliness, adhering to Cone Health policies and regulatory standards.
