Cone Health is seeking an OR PRN RN to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team, providing high-quality, patient-centered care within a dynamic and collaborative clinical environment. As a PRN registered nurse, you will deliver direct nursing care to diverse patient populations in accordance with Cone Health policies, professional nursing standards, and regulatory requirements, while enjoying flexible scheduling that supports work–life balance. In this role, you will perform comprehensive patient assessments, monitor changes in condition, administer medications and IV therapies, and implement evidence-based interventions to support optimal patient outcomes. You will use strong clinical judgment to prioritize care, respond to emergent situations, and coordinate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team across the perioperative and acute care continuum. Working within Cone Health’s not-for-profit network serving the Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina, you will contribute to a culture that values compassion, respect, diversity, and inclusivity. You will play an active role in patient and family education, explaining procedures, treatments, and post-discharge instructions in a clear and supportive manner. Accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record, adherence to infection prevention and safety protocols, and participation in quality and performance improvement initiatives will be essential aspects of your responsibilities.
