Monitor patients' vital signs, airway, pain levels, and overall stability during the immediate post-anesthesia recovery phase
Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and anesthesia providers
Provide emotional support, reassurance, and education to patients and their families
Document all patient care activities, assessments, and interventions accurately per regulatory standards
Respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient condition or emergencies
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical techs, and fellow nurses to ensure seamless care and optimal patient outcomes
Maintain infection control, safety, and compliance standards within the surgery center
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana
1–2 years of PACU, ICU, or critical care experience strongly preferred
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to remain calm under pressure
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a positive, professional, and collaborative attitude
