Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardener to maintain and enhance outdoor spaces for residential, commercial, or public properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of plants, landscaping techniques, and seasonal care to create beautiful, sustainable gardens. This role involves hands‑on work in various weather conditions, focusing on plant health, soil management, and aesthetic design. Key Responsibilities Plant, prune, weed, and fertilize flowers, and shrubs to ensure healthy growth and seasonal vibrancy. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as weeding, mulching, pruning. Monitor and address plant diseases, nutrient deficiencies, and irrigation needs; operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment (e.g., lawnmowers, trimmers, sprinklers). Assist with seasonal preparations, such as winterizing gardens, spring planting, and fall clean‑ups. Collaborate with team members or clients to plan and execute projects, ensuring compliance with client needs. Maintain accurate records of garden activities, inventory of supplies, and progress reports. Qualifications and Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; certification in horticulture, landscaping, or a related field is a plus. At least 1-2 years of experience in gardening, landscaping, or a similar role. Strong knowledge of plant species, soil types, weed species. Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and working outdoors in varying weather. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; ability to operate light machinery safely. Excellent attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and a creative eye for design. Basic computer skills for record‑keeping and communication. Commitment to safety protocols.
