Join Our Grooming Team at Wolf Run Veterinary Clinic!

Wolf Run Veterinary Clinic is excited to welcome an experienced Groomer to our growing veterinary support team. We are a full-service practice providing comprehensive medical care alongside professional grooming services, and we take pride in serving pets and their families in our community.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated groomer who enjoys working independently while being part of a collaborative hospital environment.

Schedule: This is a full-time position working 4 x 10 hour shifts Monday - Friday only.

NO WEEKENDS, NO HOLIDAYS!

Qualifications

  • Professional grooming experience working with a variety of dog breeds and coat types
  • Knowledge of breed-specific grooming standards
  • Ability to safely handle pets of varying sizes and temperaments
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Grooming certification is a plus

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform full grooming services including bathing, drying, haircuts/styling, brush-outs, nail trims, de-matting, ear cleaning, and gland expression
  • Evaluate each pet’s coat and skin condition and communicate grooming recommendations to pet owners
  • Engage with clients to understand grooming preferences and expectations
  • Safely handle pets of various sizes and temperaments during grooming procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized grooming area throughout the day and at the end of each shift
