Methodist Boerne Emergency Center134 Menger Springs RdBoerne, TX 78006Telephone: (830) 331-3000 About Methodist Boerne Emergency CenterPediatric Emergency Services Now Available at Methodist Boerne Emergency CenterMethodist Boerne Emergency Center, a department of Methodist Hospital, serves Boerne and the surrounding communities with a medical center that includes the first-ever 24/7 freestanding emergency center, the first its kind in South and Central Texas.The most common complaints among patients visiting Methodist Boerne Emergency Center are: chest pain, shortness of breath, abdominal pain, extremity injuries, fever, motor vehicle accidents, back pain, pregnancy complaints, skin infections, animal bites, pediatric illness and lacerations.Methodist Boerne Emergency Center's compassionate team of medical professionals works to stabilize critical patients experiencing the following: acute myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest, stroke, subarachnoid bleed, trauma (including amputations), overdose, spinal cord injuries, cardiac arrhythmias, seizures, pulmonary embolus and pneumothorax. After stabilization, the patient is transported to a Methodist hospital in San Antonio.The Methodist Boerne Emergency Center exceeds national standards for rapid evaluation and treatment in emergency cardiac cases, with impressive times between a patient's arrival, evaluation, travel time to San Antonio and having an angioplasty.
