Gold Spectrum is a dynamic, fast-paced hemp processor located in Bristol, Tennessee. We are proud of our mission to produce high-quality cannabinoid products that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. As a Retail Manager-in-Training, you’ll learn the ins and outs of store operations while gaining hands-on leadership experience. This role prepares you for future management opportunities by training you in compliance, customer service, staff development, and daily retail operations. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and engaging customer experience while helping our team uphold industry-leading standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist with point-of-sale operations, inventory management, and cash handling protocols.
2. Support the Store Manager in motivating staff to achieve sales goals (daily, weekly, and monthly).
3. Learn and maintain in-depth product knowledge and stay informed on trends in the industry.
4. Contribute to creating and managing staff schedules based on store traffic patterns.
5. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and participate in state inspections.
6. Help maintain accurate records including sales, deliveries, returns, and daily reconciliations.
7. Perform store opening and closing duties as assigned.
8. Support additional tasks and projects as needed
Who You Are:
1. Highly dependable with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
2. A natural leader with at least 1 year of experience managing or supervising retail teams.
3. Previous customer service or hospitality experience required.
4. Confident decision-maker with strong problem-solving skills.
5. Organized and detail-oriented, able to follow and uphold SOPs with consistency.
6. Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and written skills.
7. Adaptable and open to learning in a fast-changing environment.

Benefits/Compensation:
Salary: $15.00-$16.00/hour
