Key Responsibilities Reading Bills of Material (BOMs) and pick lists : Ensuring that the correct parts and quantities are used for assembly. Locating, picking, and staging components : Using RF scanners or paper pick lists to ensure first-pass accuracy. Verifying part numbers, lot codes, and expiration dates : Performing visual and dimensional inspections to reject or quarantine discrepant items. Consolidating components into properly labeled kits : Applying barcodes and tags, and recording kit assembly in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ERP. Preparing and packaging kits : Following packaging standards to prevent damage and ensure traceability. Maintaining consistent kit build rates and productivity metrics : Meeting quality targets and adhering to takt time expectations.
