The Furniture Assembler is responsible for assembling high-quality furniture, ensuring every piece is built to perfection. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assists the Assembly team in building each part of the tabletop and base.
  • Tracks labor hours for each job on which work is performed.
  • Reads and follows all wood shop paperwork and project specifications.
  • Follows all tasks that are set by the shop Foreman.
  • Assembles products with minimal instruction or assistance.
  • Follows the daily and monthly schedule to ensure orders are being completed on time.
  • Assists the Warehouse & Production Team with miscellaneous tasks.
  • Assists in other departments as needed, by request.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Two to three years of woodshop or related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be a team player, with an ability to manage adversity.
  • Must be able to read and write in English.
  • Must have basic knowledge of common wood-working tools and woodshop safety procedures.
  • Must have valid authorization to work in the United States, without sponsorship.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIORNMENT:
  • Continually required to stand, walk, to talk or hear, and safely operate woodshop equipment and hand tools.
  • Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
  • Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud- often performing work around sanders, grinders, and power tools.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and /or move more than up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to constructs and inspect furniture components, and efficiently read and interpret blueprints and build specifications paperwork.
