Job Description

Join a dedicated healthcare team in the Southeastern United States as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). This role involves providing essential patient care, observing and reporting changes in patient conditions, and maintaining a clean and well-stocked patient environment.

• Assist with patient admissions, including orientation to unit routines and equipment.
• Respond promptly to patient needs, either directly or by notifying appropriate staff.
• Support the nursing care plan by performing delegated patient care tasks.
• Ensure patient safety through proper use of equipment and supplies.
• Manage access to medication and supply rooms to retrieve necessary patient care items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient areas.
• Participate actively in cost containment and accurate patient service charging.
• Engage in educational and performance improvement activities.
• Perform waived testing and maintain required skills per unit competency.
• Demonstrate responsibility in customer satisfaction, patient throughput, and hospital capacity compliance.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Current registration with the appropriate state nursing assistant registry.

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read and write English effectively.
• Flexibility in work tasks and schedules.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new techniques.
• Understanding of age-specific patient care considerations.

• Ability to work variable shifts.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and patient turning.
• Visual and auditory acuity to observe patient conditions.
• Exposure to blood and body fluids with adherence to safety protocols.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential.
