Job Description

Creative Director, Art Direction at Monigle About us At Monigle, we humanize brands to move people. As the largest independent brand-focused agency in the country, the quality of our work starts and ends with the people doing it — their passion, curiosity, and refusal to settle for good enough. Our Advertising team is small, agile, and genuinely passionate about what creativity can do to earn attention, shape behavior, and influence culture. We see the entire funnel as our playground, and our work reflects our optimism and agility. We're smart, strategic, and scrappy — showing up for each other and for our colleagues across the agency to make every day a little better and more inspiring than the day before. The Role We're looking for a Creative Director, Art Director who is more than a talented visual thinker — you're a strategic force, a master of craft and a dynamic presence who can sell ideas through imagery, design, and visual storytelling that captures both imagination and heart. The Details You have some experience in a leadership role or are ready to make the leap into the next phase of your amazing career. Either way, you're a team player who can translate a brief into a distinctive visual language and see that vision through with the highest degree of creativity and quality. You're a positivity magnet, someone who rallies teams and excites clients with equal parts artistic conviction and collaborative generosity. You're a performance‑driven pro who can create at any altitude — being as comfortable on a shoot with clients as you are perfecting the details on the smallest of activation tactics. You'll report to our Executive Creative Director and partner closely with our Creative Director, Copy. Together, you're the creative engine of the growing department — leading the work, building business, and contributing to our dynamic culture. What You’ll Do Lead the work. Own the visual concept and art direction on major campaigns from brief through production. Establish the aesthetic language, make the craft decisions, and push the work past the expected — across media and throughout the funnel. Create across media. Performance‑driven creativity is our rocket fuel for solving problems. You have perspective on how to earn attention and spark engagement at the outset of every project. Partner and elevate. Here, we are each other's people. You'll collaborate with strategy, digital, visual designers, verbalists, client services, studio artists, and production to ensure creative integrity across every handoff and every touchpoint is a seamless exchange. Move with purpose. You're nimble by nature, and equally comfortable in a fast‑turn social brief and multi‑layered brand launch. You show up where needed and respect timelines without letting them flatten the work. Use AI as a creative accelerator. Neither a crutch nor a novelty, we embrace AI tools as part of how you explore, visualize, and pressure‑test ideas. We want someone who's already figured out how to make them serve the work, and who isn't afraid to push into new territory. Contribute to new business. Help concept and pitch ideas that win. Your Experience 7+ years of creative experience in advertising, with a portfolio that demonstrates genuine conceptual range and strong, distinctive visual thinking across formats. Exceptional creative taste, and a demonstrated passion and point of view for every facet of the work. Hands‑on proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and AI creative tools (Gemini, MidJourney, Firefly, Runway, or equivalent). Proven fluency in today's media landscape: how visual content behaves across platforms, how performance creative works, how channels can shape ideas. Experience working in health and wellness, financial services and destination brands a plus. The presence to present and represent the work, our group and our agency with conviction. Salary range $135,000 – $165,000 Final salary will be determined based on seniority, merit, geographic location, education, training and experience – reach out to us to learn more. Our people take care of us, so we take care of our people. Enjoy: Ample paid time off to recharge and reset 401(k): traditional and Roth options, plus employer match 100% employer‑paid medical, dental and life insurance premiums for employees Optional vision, life, short-term and long‑term disability coverage Paid maternity leave #J-18808-Ljbffr Monigle Associates Inc
