About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its nonprofit organization, which is dedicated to advancing hearing science through research, education, and pediatric care. The successful candidate will be the primary staff leader, responsible for the strategic direction, fundraising, and daily operations. This senior role requires a seasoned nonprofit leader with a strong commitment to the mission of the organization. Approximately 70% of the role will be focused on fundraising and revenue generation, while the remaining 30% will involve organizational operations, including strategy, team management, and stakeholder relations. The Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Directors, clinical entities, research faculty, and other key stakeholders to ensure the financial sustainability and growth of the organization. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include providing leadership and strategic vision in partnership with the Board, maintaining robust communication, and supporting Board development efforts. The role also involves developing and executing comprehensive fundraising strategies, cultivating donor relationships, and ensuring fiscal integrity. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising, a strong understanding of research-driven nonprofits, and experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams. They should be excellent communicators, with the ability to serve as the organization's primary spokesperson, and demonstrate high integrity, transparent leadership, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The Executive Director will be expected to thrive in a dynamic environment, balancing the demands of fundraising, research, operations, and outreach, and to be a self-starter, problem-solver, and collaborative leader.
